Vortex™ Time-based, Demand-Pull, Real-Time Production Dispatching
CAMARILLO, Calif., Sept. 24, 2019 -- Equation1, a provider of software solutions for complex production environments, today announced the issuance of the USTPO Patent Number 10417595 for "Time-based Demand-pull Production." The Vortex™ production dispatching solution pulls work through a production process based on flow-time, achieving results similar to legacy Kanban systems, but is agnostic to workflow complexity.
Vortex™ can reduce cycle-times, costs and inventories by applying this breakthrough technology. By pulling work through the production process, instead of pushing it as is the current state-of-art, Vortex™ is able to automatically balance the most challenging of workflows.
